145.390 Repeater Linked to Cross Roads Ham Radio Club

The Washington County Amateur Radio Club (W5AUM) is excited to announce that our 145.390 MHz repeater, located in Brenham, Texas, is now connected to the Cross Roads Ham Radio Club (CRHRC) linked repeater system on a full time basis.

This is a significant step for Amateur Radio in Washington County. Local operators can now hold a conversation with hams on more than 30 linked repeaters across Texas. Operators outside of repeater coverage area can also join in using AllStarLink (a voice over IP network that ties amateur radio nodes together).

When you transmit, your audio is carried across every other repeater on the CRHRC network at the same time. Please remember to pause momentarily between transmissions so linked sites have time to drop and other stations across the system can break in.

Within Washington County, the repeater can be accessed on 145.390 MHz, with a standard 2 meter negative offset and a PL (CTCSS) tone of 103.5 Hz.
